Night Shift

Night Shift

A Poem by JEWLDUST
"

just words about night shift.

"

The drive with the moon ahead.

Almost all of you must be in bed.

Tonight the moon is full and bright,

so lovly casting deep yellowish light.

With the engian off I can hear night sounds,

I look up to the dark, and stars I have found.

Walking up the steps quiet, steep lit.

If Im to loud someone might bit!

Once inside all is settled and calm,

now to let my head into my palm.

All new to my body mind and soul,

train myself to be alive and cool.

Tick goes time, by slow and steady.

Night shift is on.

Am I sure Im ready?

This was pretty good. My mom works night shift and from my understanding, your poem described it pretty well. There was at least one spelling error, but you seem to know this by your Author's Note. Overall, this was a good read.
