The Melody HourA Poem by JE FalconJust a poem for joy.Fold your daydreams into words and blend those words into song. Then close your eyes to the world and for the Love of it, sing along.
Listen to those sweet, sweet, sounds Rippling across the ages. Those millions and millions of voices Reaching harmonious stages.
I have heard them in the twilight Just south of the whippoorwill's trees. There, in the whispers of bygone winds And in the buzzing of the bumblebees.
With joy, and pride, I tune right in to my heart's internal quire. Singing love, and Hallelujah, In that continuous, melody, hour.
