Spring's FeverA Poem by JE FalconA poem of a spring get-away.The sunset glows And I wiggle my toes In the clover of this meadow. This spring has dawned On this growing lawn Beneath my favorite willow.
The city’s fine In wintertime, But we long for rolling hills. An open plain Kissed by rain And the smell of furrowed fields.
So … we slip away For a holiday, Me, myself, and soul, To a country space, A springtime place, Just to watch the flowers grow.
