Question Me This

Question Me This

A Poem by JE Falcon
"

Questions were asked, but no answers.

"

What kind of pain do you feel when she weeps?

What is the color of her soul when she cries?

Do you see her in the light of a sunset

or in the sunbeams, as the sun begins to rise?

Do the songs that she sings take you skyward

to those fleeting moment lost in her love?

And if you had those moments, here, again, today

would they fit like they did, as a glove?

Does she cling to you when sorrow replaces dreams,

those times when those tears must be shed?

And are you the harbor that she seeks in a storm,

her comfort-quilt --- on her featherbed?

Let me come back to this. I like it, a lot. You ask questions. And what happens when you do that?

Not a problem, we do what must be written. :)
I like how this is a sequel poem to the Sand-Bride...
"Are you the harbor..." is the best line.
Nicely done, JE,
