Trains of LifeA Poem by JE FalconA comparison poem.Roundabout and in and out Our trains of life will travel. Over hill and dale, and the weighing scale, Hoping the tracks do not unravel.
‘Tis such a shame one cannot tame The beasts of burden and their need But what the hell, it’s just as well, Cause the human world relies on greed.
So, we pay our dues and sing the blues, And seek security as a destination. We are happier, still, if we’ve had our fill And our excess baggage was left at the station.
