Sun Dance - Faces Of the Wind

These were written as a pair with thoughts of how the energy of nature touches our lives

SUN DANCE

As the morning sun sings
Its warmth and energy
Radiate to all
The sun gives itself equal to all
Caressing with its life giving beams
As the afternoon sun travels across the sky
All are touched
As the evening sun sets
It is a time for reflection
And with the promise and anticipation
Of the next sunrise
comes hope

FACES OF THE WIND

As the wind whispers its morning call
It inspires the trees to dance
And the birds to sing
Natures song moves on the wind
It is a timeless motion
For every occasion
An ocean breeze
Or a blustery day
The ever so slight brush on the cheek
From the light passing of the warm summer air
A strong gust in the fall that gives you
A feeling that says i am alive
