The Paradise of the lost mind

The Paradise of the lost mind

A Poem by Jerald Infant Jeyarethinam
"

A Depressed take on the life of a random individual who could have been anyone of us.

"
I looked out the window to write this song
The words just came out and it didn't take long.

When I searched for the sun it wasn't there
I'm letting you know that Life will never be fair.

I am very tired yet I don't sleep
For my mind seems to have lost in something very deep.

Here comes the rain
Alas! I'm already drenched in pain.

Deep down I'm turning blue
Making sure others don't have a clue.

I try to fly with these broken wings
Keeping the heart that still stings.

I am a dreamer whop keeps thinking of better days
Though I'm the first person to know that this is how the life stays.

Awaiting the toll of the bell
To take me to hell!

It reminded me of one of my poems... It is really dark out here so watch out the gnawing pain.. Often when we write dark people ask... are you okay?? i just get pissed off at them.Because we let the darkness in us to flood out in the paper. i liked your style of couplets. they did flow smoothly from one line to other.A goodgood job here with this one

I thought this was going to be some strange happy poem, by the title, I like it all the same. I hope your paradise later gives you wings, and sensors painful stings :)
