Two Roads DivergedA Poem by Jerald Infant JeyarethinamThis poem is my tribute to one of my favorite authors of all time Robert Frost and one of my favorite poems of all time ‘The road not taken’.For out in the world I find I‘m that man on the road The road that diverged into two of a kind Into the yellow wood The road on the end Looks round and bend The road with the light Has its own share of bright The two roads make me think for a day And see what I have to say I've got to be sure of my-self as it is my life Before I go down the road not taken Hoping my final reward will not be heartache and strife I go down the that road many have not even spoken With all the emotions set aside Where god of man hangs about The road I'm trudging seems all uphill I will never stop with all my will The hill ahead may not be as steep as it seem I will continue to climb until I reach my dream I will tell one day When the sun shines and I’m making hay I took the road less traveled by And since then the act of self-condemnation has never crossed me by The road taken by me Has made all the difference there should be Inspired from Robert Frost's "The Road Not Taken" © 2013 Jerald Infant Jeyarethinam
