The Brooding Storm

The Brooding Storm

A Poem by Paramount

The sound of a crow is heard not too far away

The wind is picking up like a great storm is approaching

The moonlight is struggling to penetrate the heavy foliage

A shrill noise paralyzes the visitor

Out of nowhere, a downpour descends upon the scene

Lightning flashes all around

A clash of thunder immediately follows

The remaining moments of calm have vanished

As the night enters into its isolation
