A Walk Among the Tombstones

A Walk Among the Tombstones

A Poem by Paramount

A walk among the tombstones takes a man along a road of despondency. Despair grips him like tangled branches. He is suffocated by the wind of horror. Terror surrounds him to the point of two collapsing towers beneath him. He can hear nothing but the sounds of illusion. He opens his closed eyes and sees himself in the foggy mirror. A year has gone by in the evolution of secrecy. Gateways into the inferno of shattered ruins open up and he gasps. Is he awake or has he awakened from a dream of dream?
