Pretty CNN reporter, Liz Rix, turns on Cicely's TV.

"Look, it's me on the screen!" Cicely sits up erect in bed.

Liz faces the TV camera-mount. "This is Liz Rix, with Cicely Platt, who in one hour will break Jeanne Calment's 1997 life-longevity record of 122 years, 164 days. Cicely was born in 1903."

"No, 1903 was when I cheered on Wilbur and Orville at Kittyhawk," Cicely says. "First flight, 12 seconds."

"No dear, that was the year you were born. Perhaps you're thinking of when you witnessed the first Ford roll off the Detroit assembly line, years later."

"No, I dated the Wrights before Henry. You can see me in the background, in their iconic photo. December 17, 19 aught 3, my 16th birthday."

Liz Googles it, "Omigod, it is you!" She grabs the camera-mount and heads for the door.

"Where are you going?!" Cicely hollers.

"Local zoo's got a Panda. You're old news, Cicely. You broke the record years ago!".
