History 101 Lecture Theater - 8:00 am

"Why is it called an alarm clock, Professor Dooley?"

"Why is what called an alarm clock, Oliver?"
~
"The alarm clock! The clock we set to get us up in the morning. 
Alarm is so alarming! Why isn't it called a wakeup clock?"
~
"It comes from the Old French, alarme-14th century, 
meaning 'a call to arms in the face of danger or an enemy.'"
~
" ...Omigod, that's so perfect! ...Oops!
I apologize for my foolish question, Professor Dooley.
I ,,,I musta got outa bed on the wrong side this morning."
~
Dooley finger-forms a revolver and aims. 
"Bang!
 Gotcha kid."

A typo, I meant ...the best kind!
...haha, and my ;) semicolon was a typo too :)
