"How can you not believe in God and Heaven, Dr. Wix?" asks a gray-haired man. 

"What keeps you misguided atheists going?"

"You mean, besides our annoyance at being labeled by

condescending Believers, based on what we don't believe in?"

"Okay, sure, Dr. Know-it-All, besides that."

"Same as keeps you Believers going. Deluded notions."

"I'll turn my other cheek to that, and ask, Delusions, like what?"

"Like my own pet delusion, that somehow, someway, 

I'll cheat death, and go right on living."
