Her complaint ...in 12 lines

The Compliant Dept.

"I'm here about this umbrella I bought yesterday."

"Excellent, ma'am! Just note the details on this form and we'll take care of you."

"Thank you, sir," she says, smiling. "You certainly are accommodating."

~ 

He nods. "Compliance is our motto, ma'am."

Completing the form, she hands it back to the clerk. 

He scans it into his e-files without reading it. 

"Here's your Happy-Points card ma'am."

" ...My what? What about my complaint-refund?"

~

"Complaints are at the next counter, ma'am. We're Compliant."

~

She looks up at the sign, shakes her head, steps to the next counter, completes her 

complaint form and gives it to the clerk for her refund.

His computer rejects it. "Sorry ma'am, but it appears you've already complied."
