 Lecture Theater 3

"It's a fine line," Prof Howard Trix says, stepping to the lectern.

Students scribble it down, some look to each other, 

others flip pages. Silence wraps the theater.

"Questions, anyone?" he asks.

A lone hand goes up. A young woman's. " ...And?"

"And, what?" he replies.

~

"And, what's the point of your line, Professor?"

~

"What do you think it is, young lady?"

~

"I think you hooked it, in hopes of a catch."

 ~

"Making you, what? The fish?"

~

"Depends, Professor, on which one of us has the rod."

Prof Trix winks. "My point exactly."
