OneA Chapter by John KnowlesElsa introduces herself, her environment and gives a brief description of her view on the people in it.I am sitting on my bathroom floor. The fluorescent lights are buzzing angrily at me. I guess this is why I am listening to music. My mp3 player sits on the floor, along with a pack of cigarettes and a bottle of soda. My parents aren’t home yet; they usually don’t get home until around eight. This leaves me to myself for a few more hours. I secretly like my parents, even though arguments are a blast. My mom works, as a secretary in the city and my dad owns a car dealership in town. We live in the nicer part of Stone meadows. I guess that doesn’t mean much because most of the people here are rich. Stone Meadows is a subdivision in Edgefield. I used to live in Bel Noir, which is in North County. My cousin Marty lives there. He is eighteen years old. I am sixteen. We used to hang out quite a bit, but I moved. He used to tutor me in math. I also used to hang out with a few other people. After a couple years it's pointless too even think they remember you. Most of my fake friends here, consist of mall Goths and scene kids, but that's mostly because these days the out cast is the in cast. They seem all fashion oriented. I don’t care about them much. To be honest, I don’t care much for anyone, except maybe for the few real friends.. It’s not that I hate anyone; I just prefer to be by myself. This is due to a few problems I have had with people over the past few years. An interesting thing: I know more people from Noco here than I knew from Noco itself. Some people completely changed as soon as they got here. I know I did. While we are on the subject of interesting things, there are no power lines or telephone poles Everythings underground. I used to get lost constantly before I got a car. Call me Ryoga. Thank you gps. © 2011 John KnowlesAuthor's Note
