Hurdles

Hurdles

A Poem by JDAwesomeness

Hurdles

My whole body tense

I am prepared

I look at the fence

I won’t get scared

I hear the gunshot

I pick up speed

I find the right spot

From gravity I’ve been freed

I soar overtop

I fly through the air

Over the next I pop

Through the wind I tear

It might be intense

But I love the independence

This poem is very descriptive. Though short, it is like I'm reading a story. The first part is definitely my favorite, but the whole thing is very well written. Good Job!
