The sheriff had

Two floors; level 1 and S-1

Long stairway between them

The only way to the

Sub-levels was through one

Of four elevators

 

Von was searing

Judas flirted with Naye

And Von’s skin crawled; Yasmine

Noticed instantly�"foresight

She grabbed Von’s hand and slid past

 

The teens waited

Watching as the guard paced

He was fidgeting with

His collar; nerves bursting

The trap, already set

 

Carez’s own

Bumbling drunk walked by

Jade fell into the guards arms

The teens crept in the dark

And pushed the down button

 

Von almost screamed

As he watched Judas’

Face light up with success, then

Von wanted to shout as

Judas gave Naye a wink

 

Von wasn’t sure

Why he kept holding on

To their secret kiss�"it’d

Been nearly a year and

Judas forgot all about it

 

He must have been

Hoping that their wild

Adventure would make him

Realize that Von was still

Von held the door

His hands shaking and palms

Soaked; “What’s the hold up?” Judas

Asked�"Bright brown eyes and a

Glowing smile jumped in

 

Carlo entered

Von lit up and moved his hand

The elevator closed

“Sorry I’m late,” Carlos said.

“You’re right on time,” Von squeaked

 

Von introduced

His new friend, Judas glared

“Why’s he here?” Judas snapped.

Von rolled his eyes and said,

“I promised him an adventure.”

 

Key in hand, Von

Smiled and said, “Last chance.”

Judas grinned, “Let’s do it.”

Von scanned the key and the

Elevator went straight down

 

The sea hollered

The skies turned dark gray and

Thunder punched lighting through

The night air, wrestling
