Graduation Day

In cap and gown I’ll walk

To the podium with pride

Twelve long years it took

I can’t wait the day

To be grown and on my own

College bound not sure, but

Maybe will someday

I want to travel first and see the world

And learn what life’s about

Girl, take my hand and walk this walk

Let’s discover the world together

Stand high upon the verge of life

Turn back the years of strife

And someday become my wife
