This is it.

This is it.

A Poem by J.Carnevale
"

Long Live The Chariho Players!

"

All is quiet,

darkness surrounds me.

my heart pounds,

I take a deep breath.

Some murrmers escape from the crowd,

they soon fall silent.

The curtain slowly begins to open.

my heart skips a beat,

all the hard work has lead to this moment.

I breath,

no one dares make a sound.

The lights slowly come on,

my heart pounding i bravely take my first step.

My first step onto the stage,

my first step into my future,

into my life.

This is all the hard work,

this is the moment,

this is it.

Very nice. Short but it still gets the point across to the reader. Very well worded.
