a stary night

I wrote this in my english class. its a sonnet. had to follow shakespeares format.

Shall I compare you to the stary night?

 

You are more breath taking and very bright.

 

Eyes shine brighter than any star tonight,

 

Come close to me and let our hearts take flight.

 

Night sometimes to dark, but you make it light,

 

Nightmares show no bound when you are around.

 

For you love, my heart takes flight like a kite,

 

whatever you do you always astound.

 

But the stars do not compare to your light,

 

A light pure and bright it shines through the night.

 

And my love, I love you with all my might,

 

I want you to hold me through the dark night.

 

I hope you love me till the very end,

 

For you have truly been my best friend.
