my wallsA Poem by J.Carnevaleit doesnt rhyme. just came to mindI listen to the noise. The noise I've lisened to a thousand times, and will listen to a thousand times more. It no longer makes me sad, nor does it upset me, nor does it make me mad. It's just there. Always has been. I pretend its not there. See, I have built these walls, I have shut my door, i have locked myself away in a place where theres peace, where I can find silence, where I can feel love, not hate. but the noise is increasing, trying to getting in, forcing me to listen. my walls seem to be crummbling, and my perfect place begins to fade, and I feel helpless. I fear the walls will not hold back the noise on the other side. The screaming and yelling. I will try and stand, I will build my walls stronger, I will not crumble, I will not fall. ~J.Carnevale
