I'm Afraid

I wrote this when I first met her, the one who changed my life and I was scared shitless but at the same time was excited because I wanted to see if I could resist her. part of the reason was because I had been hurt previously and I didnt want it to happe

I see you everyday,

but I dont talk to you alone,

for I fear what you might say,

for all this I have known,

I have done this before,

and my heart was torn,

by the one I used to adore,

but a new hope was born,

when you became my friend,

even though my pain would never end,

my heart thought it to be true,

but my head knew otherwise,

I knew it was too early to be in love with you,

though I feel trapped when I look into your eyes,

for that reason alone I'm afraid,

not that my heart would be rebroken,

but our friendship dismade.

I was young when I wrote this, like two or three years ago I think.

Is dismade a word? Whatever.I'm not an idiot and I know who this is written for and I think it shows the early signs of love sick puppy dog and as much you want to argue(in which I will win) that is the case in this poem, I will still believe that you won't lose these emotions quickly.I thought it was cute...
