FearA Poem by Julio Cesar RuizJust as the tittle says.Fear is a powerful tool, for it makes everyone look like a fool, for even the bravest among us can't see, that fear is what our worst nightmares be, for it can make you run, and everything that you've done, won't stand against your fear, for it shows you quite clear, what scares you the most, and being brave enough to boast, doesnt give you the right to say, that you're brave enough to face fear any day, for being brave isn't what you thought, its being afraid and still you fought, for facing your fear with your head held high, true bravery is till the day your fears die, for you'll see that anything goes, for fear has no rules as eveyone knows, but even facing your fears isn't easy to do, and its better to have someone with you, for alone its easy for fear, to comsume your heart year after year, and it causes you pain till you see, that alone you are really meant to be, but the problem is that fear clouds your mind, and it makes you believe that your alone all the time, and no one knows why fear is this way, but alone it becomes stronger anyway, and you believe that no one is there, and you believe that for you no one will care, slowly but surely fear creates, the feeling that you everyone foresakes, and anger fills your heart, and all the hate tears you apart, and the darkness swallows your soul, completing fear's final goal, for fear and darkness are one in the same, and both know the rules of the game, but you must make the final choice, and you must cease to listen to the voice, of fear and never forget, that both choices will leave regret, for I have chosen against fright, and even now I'm not sure whether my choice was right. © 2009 Julio Cesar RuizAuthor's Note
