What Is Love?

What Is Love?

A Poem by Julio Cesar Ruiz
"

A simple Question asked at the end.

"

Everyday I live with regrets,

but nobody cares and nobody frets,

even when I'm bleeding and hurt,

or unconscious and lying in the dirt,

but this feeling of lonelyness and despair,

have made me grow cold and not care,

for I have always been alone,

and silence is the only laughter that I have ever known,

though my regrets are few and far apart,

there only one that strikes me dearly in my heart,

I had never wondered until now,

nor have I asked why or how,

But now I find myself looking at you from above,

and i ask my myself, what is Love?

Very thoughtful and poigant and not to mention short...Anyways I liked the line " Silence is the only laughter I've ever known" .I've noticed that your poems are in fact very deep and depressing.I'd love to see you try a happy poem and completely different from what you do.
