Brick Walls

Brick Walls

A Poem by J. C. Koch
"

Its all a game of tennis

"

Brick walls

Knock 'em down

Smash 'em

Crash 'em

Throw rocks at 'em

You'll still never beat one at tennis

Brick walls

Punch ‘em

Till you bleed

Beat you’re head

Till you lose consciousness

You'll still never beat one at tennis

Brick walls

Use your bombs

Your sledges

Your bulldozers

But you simply cannot

Beat it at tennis
