SparksA Poem by J. C. Koch

One insignificant event Just a small spark Can start a fire A fire that burns away doubts Burns away illusions Burns away lies Leaving ashes Here and gone in an instant A sparks life is short Bright then gone But still The fire a spark can start Burn down the world Leaving nothing A blank slate To start anew.
