Glistening Diamonds of Sorrow

Glistening Diamonds of Sorrow

A Poem by JC Fox

Tears falling from the sky
Never ending wondering why
Some believe it's angels above
Some believe rain is the mourning of lost love

Rain in the sky falling in sheets
From the sky and the earth where it meets
Lonely and falling shimmering bright
Diamonds of mourning, noon and night

Now the sun has come to clear
Soon the rain will end it's so very near
Glistening in the beams of sun
No longer sad but a sign of fun

I thought this poem was very lovely! I liked these two lines:

" Some believe it's angels above
Some believe rain is the mourning of lost love"

and

" Diamonds of mourning, noon and night"
