Frosted Window

Frosted Window

A Poem by Jamie

I woke up this morning,

Looked out the frost covered window,

Thinking of you and me,

We're kind of like that window,

Warm on the one side,

Safe and secure,

But the other is unsure,

It's hard to see,

What lies beyond the frosty glass,

All we can do is wait,

Wait for the window to defrost,

Wait for our future to become clear,

Then hope for the best,

But it takes time,

It takes patience,

All we have now,

Is each other and the future,

the future that lies beyond the frosted window.
