Intuitive as one may be
Some things you cannot foresee Words before they are spoken Hearts before they are broken Or the Roots of the tallest tree Chances are low If you think you know What the future may hold Until you let it unfold And reveal the way to go Patience is a virtue Something you accrue But Living without Laces impending doubt In all you say and do Integrity cannot be bought This quality can only be taught Throughout ones journey They never cease learning Qualities of which are sought Empathy is found in ones soul It’s a quality that plays a roll From beginning to end Whether enemy or friend Without it you’ll never be whole © 2018 Kelli April |
