Royalty Lies

Royalty Lies

A Poem by J.
"

A queens place in time, temporarily substituted by an impostor. The queen knows her place, and worries not of this plight. For she waits in silence, and virtue.

"
This too shall pass
You may sit above me
All you wish for now
A short moment of glory
I will take my place in time
I know the truth
And that truth shall carry me
She only has a moment
I have a lifetime and then some
Always have, always will
Blood Reigns within and from me
A birthright I am branded with
As my father shows my rightful place
My king shall soon see
And punishments will commence
All in due time
