Life

Life

A Poem by J.

But a journey we all must trod
Why, when there is so much pain?
Suffering amid obstacles in our way
Life couldn't be much harder

Yet we are forced to endure much
Passages many have taken
We get lost to a ramp along the way
How did we get here?

Eventually
We take now each step with care
Not to find ourselves stuck
In a deja vu

Meeting a twist upon fate
A destiny self-created
And we move onward
Struggling or slipping

Against all odds we fight
Against the reflection we always see
Day and night
A common affair with whom we have to blame

And I find my strings tangled
Within many others
Searching for an end
And a beginning

And we move on
