Pillars of the Once Noble

Pillars of the Once Noble

A Story by J.

She awoke with a gasp
Her dream, or a nightmare
Startled her so
His eyes were empty
The light had long faded
From the vessel he's lived in for so long
Someone froze him over
Laid him back to sleep
Why did this happen to the one
Who was once strong in knowing
What he wanted, and where he'd be?
Valamier Can no longer see
And she then knew, she must walk away
The drones would one day come to
With a painful vengeance
Now she had to continue on
The shift has begun
And the tall obelisks will crumble
Where he no longer stands
Chains are broken, and slabs are crushed to oblivion
Oh there shall be more destruction
There shall be more
And he that now slumbers
Can do nothing but weep in his own nightmare
He created this life
Now he is stuck in it
She cannot wait any longer
The shift must take place
And has already begun
Unchangeable, unrelenting, irreversible
Now they all fall down
And the one who also controls him
Will meet her wrath soon enough
He has tarried too long himself
Whisping away with his precious Fae
Keeping her under his control as well
And now the one darkness covers in light
Now she calls out to the council
"Oh ones of light and great
Who gather still around in circle of the next
Dawning of a new era Seize the day
Oh great Father I have found him!
Yet still he comes not!"
