I've caught your eye
More than once together
Looking at me, and I
Felt your glance
Then miles apart later
I still feel you
And I've wondered
Have remembered
That was then

With a woman like me
After so long of growing tired
Do the years between us
Make a difference to you?
Maybe I just need to know
You've always been in my heart
In one way or another
Yes, that soft spot with you
In it, has kept you
Do you want to share everything
With me, where do you see us?
Share our hearts?
Be the man I want and need
As I can be the woman for you, the same
Where are you now
Can you hear my cries?
Tears that have fallen and shattered
Along with pieces of my heart
Yet my soul remains strong
Are you able to mend the wounds
From many regrets before?
Tell me, what does your heart say
What does your heart feel?

Dame girl everyone must have that person that they hold most dear in their hearts. It’s like I’m reading my own story unfolding before me, the feelings that come through are like my own, it’s good to know that I’m not the only one that feels like that . Great poem I’ll come back when it’s all fin .
