Burn

Why must I wait for
The fires of hell to burn me
While I wait for you

That's a deep question, J. It's either because you can't find any other salvation or it's because you must shed away all your past sins before you can embrace what is ahead of you. I've been guilty of looking too deeply before but this little read sent me sinking. Well done.

the thing is, you don't. we often(and I know that I definitely do) like to enjoy reveling in our pain, we may not call it that, but I guarantee that we do it. I can't count the times I have been feeling bad and as it starts to ebb, i try to visualize whats bothering me in greater detail, pulling the pain back to the front. Why, maybe because it is intense and it shows we are alive. IDK maybe that's just me, I haven't fully figured it out.
