Your Turn

Your Turn

A Poem by J.

Bleeding entirely, my soul
To you I have done
But this is all I can do
My go has paused
Awaiting now, you

Until then, I shall write
I shall create my being
And pave my way through
These dark and soiled corridors
Echo

Your name engraved
Within this aching heart
Occupied with love
Pounding forth passion
How can loneliness
Be a compatible roommate

Defining what is and is not
Are we to remain in this state
Living a lie
When deep inside we know
Yet, why do we deny

Wow, romantic, and written to the prospect of falling in love but loneliness,
that which occupies the heart, seems to be all invading, but the
releation is doomed to living a lie, i loved the absolute depth and
thought spoekn into the fabric, and your a golden weaver of words,
a tapestry of emotion, creating masterpieces, this tugs at my heart fully.

This was great, I found myself relating it to so many instances of my life. Your portrayal of lonliness as a roommate was clever and I think really captured the poem. Well done!

Nicely done J. I liked the way you portrayed the emptiness of the soul. Equivalent to an empty building of sorts with its roommate and corridors. Indecision and lack of confidence can often interrupt a sure thing. Nice work.
