Internal Are My Secrets

Internal Are My Secrets

A Poem by J.
"

Basically some thoughts about all kinds of things troubling me at the moment I wrote this.

"
Inside I bleed
Withheld tears I seeth
And they cannot see
A smile for the moment
So hard to bear
That which is covered
Manage I do
As not to inflict on you
If you were inside looking out
Could you bear the pain?
Could you burden the thoughts
So unlucky to fall completely insane?
The billow ever smolders
Never blowing it away
Just managing the fire
So as not to snuff out
Holding on to what is left
For if I lose it
I have given up
There is nothing more to hope for
And I feel there still is
There has got to be
Come and get me!
What are you waiting for?!
Can't hide!
Destruction awaits them
And I shall fight beside those of like-mind
Even til death of my own
For there is none
Then a new height shall we rise
Above, more powerful and strong
No limits, nor boundaries
Longing for something new
