The Darkness of Her Soul

The Darkness of Her Soul

A Poem by J.

I am the one who would seem the victim
Portrayed as such, yet they know not
The days may grow weak in slumber
Yet it is I who carries strength
I want to share all with you
As the crescent moon wanes
I am accompanied by my king soon to come
To me, he beckons with love we both share
No other could possibly tear asunder
What is and always has been
I have long ago given to you, unconditional love
Soon to be reunited
As I fight to break away these chains
No, fear shall have me not in it's grasp
Hear my voice to you on the wind
Weaving continuous knots of our eternity
Together, we shall drink from the water of life
Time ever draws near
Always been here
Now we wait
