Naked Emotions

An attempt once again to convey emotions from over many years, that seemed to never have been reciprocated, let alone acknowledged.

The past can never remain in the past

When a part of your heart never left

A part of your heart intertwined with another

In such a way the bond is too great
Yet only by the powers that be, were they planned

And you feel the pull that cannot be severed

Looking back, why would you want to

When the other is worth so much more

You never want to let go, but wonder if you must

For them, for you, for what?

And then you cry

Not once, but for what feels like an eternity

And it never fades away

And into the next life it carries along with you

For one, maybe for both

Neither really know, but it 's there nonetheless

And now I continue to write about you
Through that waterfall of relentless tears

And a continuous breaking heart
