Don't Go

Don't Go

A Poem by James Probert
"

Mom is currently fighting for her life. So I wrote this for her.

"
I know it will be easier
The world is mean and cruel
But sometimes when the s**t gets tough
You've got to suffer through
The road so far has been quite long
Believe me mom, I know
But none of us are ready
It's not time for you to go

It isn't time yet mama
You need to keep on fighting mama
All of us are here, and we want you to pull through
We all still need you mama
Every day is harder mama
So please don't go, we're all waiting here for you

You have had a rough go so far
But so far you pulled through
Despite your many health problems
You've fought them like you do
I know this time could be the last
But mom I hope you know
I may have pushed you far away
But I don't want you to go

Please come back here mama
Your children want to see you mama
I know that this is hard, but we want you to pull through
Giving up is easy mama
But you are such a stubborn mama
So please don't go, we're all waiting here for you
