If It Is LoveA Poem by James ProbertSeems no one has a clue as to what love really is. This is my take on it. I am not sure if this is finished or not. I feel like I could keep it going but haven't really tried yet.The strongest will die And the weakest will live, In this game we call love 'Cause it helps you to give, Every ounce of your soul And every piece of your heart, To the woman you love But you won't fall apart. You will carry each other Through the worst of the storm. And you'll snuggle up close In the cold to stay warm. You will yell at each other And yes you will fight. But if it's love that you share It will turn out alright.
Relationships are built By passion and trust. They cannot be made By cruelty or lust. The holding of hands And a brush of your lips Are enough to make Your love's heart go unhinged. When you are together The world will seem small. And when you're apart Loneliness falls. The time spent away Might seem like allot. But if it is love Then nothing is lost. © 2014 James Probert
