Sunrise

Sunrise

A Poem by J3ssInJupit3r

I seek the skies

That bleed the blood

Of our Lord Jesus

Up above

It washes away

All the pain

That was felt yesterday

The beautiful glow

Lets all know

All sins of yesterday

Can be let go

Today is new

The day is young

Smile

And know where love comes from

I seek the skies

That bleed red and yellow

And have hope for

A better tomorrow

My first thought reading this poem was "wow it radiates hope."
You established a great tone that really set the mood of this poem.

I love this! It's so true that because of his sacrifice we can always look towards a better tomorrow. I love how you say the connection in the sunrise how his gift gives us a brand new day each day. The poem is also well written and holds my attention all the way through. :) I'm glad you wrote this.

Keep Dreaming.

Nicely done. I feel the same about rain, or especially snow. Too much cloud here for me to fully appreciate this, but when it is clear, I totally get what you mean.
And to end with hope for tomorrow, can never be a bad thing, can it?
Thank you for sharing.
