HONA Poem by Rose Masen
Dwelling, Engulfing, Silently Gripping;
Strength, Power, Refusing to let her begin slipping. A Cherokee maiden given life again through ancient magick and a young body with a wise soul; To maintain the balance of Light and Dark, Keeping the world at a peaceful whole. The face of Night reincarnated simply by a kiss; Everyday struggles by light, Elemental power enveloping her by night with such bliss. She seeks the good in all, even at her own destruction; Just a simple being playing with Fire, such steep repercussions. Following the Goddess given path, not shielded with a physical hood; Darkness is not always equal to evil as light does not always bring good. A simple skin seer of Sapphire; Reassurance of the right path- Few loath, many admire. Surrounded by a power circle, she embarks on battle after battle; While holding tight to her teenage years, fear in her inner being ceases to rattle. Advised by her Beloved Goddess, Nyx, from above; "Remember, u-we-tis-a-ge-ya, the path in life is to choose love; always love." © 2013 Rose MasenAuthor's Note
