Through The ScreenA Poem by JrocktothebeatJust started writing and it kept going.
Lady at the door - Slippin in my window - Do you want my soul?
Man overboard - Lost his self control - Downward spiral it goes. Screaming deepest sin - Change in mind unfolds - Do you love your little world? Child at the helm - To battle she rides - Thankful corruption is not in sight. Inner darkness - Festering dreams Contemplation - pushed aside To the womb I plead - Lost once again To hell and beyond - My halo intact Exile at the corner - Dressed so smug - Come to invest in your son again? Malleable is the foundation - that once stood strong - Nothing more than putty, still so tall. Snatch it when it happens - Destroy it with an oath - Words are your strongest arsenal. Bleed it, bleed it dry - Still so smug - I hope it stains your hands. I hope it stains your mind.
