My Dearest Black DoveA Poem by J.J.WrayA poem.
Once so frail and meek, red and pale
And of beauty's grace, never to fail With anxious will, I gave her my dim rose A queer and quaint nocturnal life, the me I such chose Temptress aplenty, steals me within my core Digesting my soul, and I beg for more Oh the heart in truth, innocently it does beam And on darkened night, a luscious smile does gleam Never could I forget, such glimpses of her As she pressed her hands deep, within my fur Jessica, Jessica, my dearest black dove Better yet a Raven, whom I do love And a charming expression, a pleasurable delight Doused in gluttony and harm, though never in plight A crimson bed wet, dripping with life In weakness worn thin, I gave her my knife Those silvery moons white, her breasts I desire Yet some wise still, say not to acquire Those eyes, those eyes - two treacherous seas - deep in frost My voyager fell, I'm drowning - with great glee - I am lost My lust for the girl, so irrationally found An obscure curse of God, thus eternally bound My horizon was hers, compressed down so low The moon and stars faint, hiding to and fro Deep in my form, her venom did scratch Of life's loneliness, her morsel did outmatch A moisture so warm, a heave dealt so high I place my yearn fiend, close by her thigh Her moan and agony, placed upon my earth Caused in a fine place, others give birth Her kiss a free meadow on a chilly spring day Telling tales of true life, so very far away Entwined in heat " passion - others only adore Jessica the red - be mine - forever more © 2012 J.J.Wray |
