~ What... SHEEP eat for Breakfast ? ~

A Poem by J. Hampton
"

Go ahead.... stick your toe in.... !

"

We are NEVER on our own...God is always ordering our steps...
you are not made to drown in the waters of a “failed life “ !

Folks he ( MADE) you ...to benefit all the goodness and richness life has to offer...and to arrive at a peaceful point to be able to kick back in that peaceful-cut and exhale !

In the 23rd Psalm it says ...

" The Lord is my shepherd. I shall not want. He made me to lie down in green pastures...he leads me beside still waters …he restores my soul…he leads me in the path of righteousness for his namesake”   ~ Psalm 23:1-3

Gods perspective is different than our own …he has 360 degrees of dimension in his vision. He can see what will chronicle in the natural…while it is still being worked out in the spiritual.

Sheep  (( will NOT )))..drink from still waters...they are afraid of their reflection ....
and their limited vision ..leaves them unsure of the depth...or their footing . Shepherds log plenty of extra miles finding a stream here and there...or they use their staff to stir it up.

God  WILL  walk us through the worst of our fears…straight… past …the edge of our comfort zone... bringing out the best in us...reminding us God is able and so are we. What may seem to be some of the worst trials of your life...are precisely what may well bring you into the best place within yourself EVER  !
He forces us to see ...really "see" ourselves....giving us something of a hindsight-prophetic look at our lives. There is something revelational in that. God will isolate..convict..correct and ressurrect all in a one swipe ( Zorro has nothing on God !)

He does it because he loves us like that !!
To embed his name in our heart…for us to call on …in an emotionally or mentally paralyzing moment.

God has a lot invested in those he has saved …and is in the business of drawing us the right way…closer to him all the time

Stay encouraged ..

“ Fear eats Faith for breakfast…N’ vice-versa “

Blessssssssssssssssss

amen. I love it when a writer illuminates a familiar scripture, and teaches me something I don't know (not that that is difficult to do.) Brilliant writing. A blessing.

You go you good thing, you should evangelize up on that pulpit!!! You are a wonderful teacher Jen, I never knew that about sheep? How interesting this piece is and yes, you do have to love God...in the end every knee will bend and every head bow because there will be nowhere else to turn.
Loved it!!!!

That is often how it happens...an interchange of encouragement. I guess that's why Jesus said there was more happiness in giving than receiving. I saw the title and I was expecting something humorous and instead found a rare gem..so the blessing continues. Thank you :)

A great tribute to the faith you share and bring to others because as a wise man once said, it ain't enough to have the faith or even enough to keep the faith.. but you got to spread some of it around. great job.
