Lunar Let-Go

Lunar Let-Go

A Poem by J. Hampton
"

The Moon Is Not Up For Argument

"
I have no idea what today will bring
or take with it

But I know
even the tide
is controlled by the greater things God has set in place

do not struggle to control
what or whom has been so consumed
with scavenging for valuables washed ashore

They are oblivious that High-Tide is coming
And the Moon...
The Moon is not up for argument

Life as we live it - seldom as we want it...

Comes a time we learn we can only "fix" our own selves and not others. But we CAN help without conditions

Foolish men believe they can control the wind, the sea and the earth. The cannot not. I enjoyed your thoughts leading to the perfect ending. Thank you my friend for sharing your amazing poetry and your thoughts.
