Love Needed

The result of free-writing in a time of spiritual need

This world is a market

You can have any THING you want

As long as you can pay

But what’s in demand is love

And this market is sold out

“Sorry, that item has been discontinued,”

They want me to believe

The manufacturer has ceased production

But I know the problem is logistics

And the fault is our own

So I stand outside

And I hang up a sign

“LOVE NEEDED:  Accepting donations”

And I dare myself
 
To make the first move
