The Hope in SicknessA Poem by J.A.BentleyMy first poem after 2 months I think, lacked the inspiration and here's my first tick of inspiration trickling through the film of daily life. The breadth of time
between ignorance and the moment I realized the disease within my heart grows proportionally in importance that from me and this disease I must be set free. On these locked doors I've sealed inside me I pound my fist with force for I know inside there it lies, the death and rancor that have destroyed many a great man before me. I will not bide nor wait my time for death to emanate from within But here I'll lie face down crying out for the mercy of the one who saves me. © 2012 J.A.Bentley |
