Please Live AgainA Poem by J.A.BentleyI ran into a older gentlemen at a car repair place who struck up a conversation with me so we talked. In a manner respective of his age, I listened and asked questions to further probe. Inspiration.
The ethereal mist
lays silence upon the meadowland taking the guise of a peaceful drift a lazy current of indifference No evil present nor was any good sensed in the miasma the only thought it lent was that time was waiting on it The grass - a muted gray - each wrapped and tangled in the mist as if it were trying to escape that frame which paralleled it so closely to Christians today. These people that chose to sit unassumingly silent in their personal space covering their heads with the status quo so, silent and confused, they'll never know About the church within it's now about attracting people to church by following the latest trend forgetting what Jesus said when he lived: "I am the way, the truth, and the light!" he said. so once we call out and are saved we become part of His church that day Today the order is reversed: go to church to listen to a sermon about Him where the scripts are planned and rehearsed and the pastor has the duel role of a wet nurse So break your greying frames Because this is just one example of church gone wild "Strengthen what remains!" Please just live again. © 2011 J.A.BentleyReviews
